Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect through zharnik.bg, why we collect it and what you can ask of us. It is written to match what the site actually does.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Geri - Is Ltd., UIC 207350507, VAT BG207350507, registered at 58 Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd., Plovdiv 4000, Bulgaria, which develops and offers its software products and services under the trade name Zharnik Soft.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights, write to zharniksoft@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect only the data you send us through the enquiry form. Nothing else — the site has no analytics, does not track your behaviour and does not build a profile of you.
With every enquiry: your name, email address and the text of your message. Optionally, your company and phone number.
For a product demo: which product interests you, approximate headcount and sector, if you fill them in.
For custom development: project type, indicative budget and desired deadline, if you fill them in, along with any brief you attach.
For a job application: the role you are applying for and the CV you attach.
Each submission also records the site language it came from and the date and time it was sent.
Legal basis
Enquiries about products and services are processed under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Job applications rest on the same basis, so that we can consider your application.
News and offers are sent only if you tick the separate box for it, under Article 6(1)(a) — your consent. It is optional, never a condition for contacting us, and you may withdraw it at any time.
Protecting the form against automated abuse rests on Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in not being flooded with unwanted messages.
Who else sees the data
We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for their own purposes. Access is limited to the providers without which the site would not run:
Hosting is provided by DigitalOcean, with the server located in a data centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands — the data stays within the European Union.
Notifications of new enquiries are delivered through Resend. The company is established in the United States and this transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Data may also be disclosed to a competent public authority where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries about products and services are kept for up to 12 months from our last exchange about them, then deleted.
Job applications and attached CVs are kept for up to 6 months from submission. If you would like us to keep you in mind for future roles for longer, tell us explicitly.
A recorded consent to receive news and offers is kept until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Under the Regulation you have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict processing, to receive your data in a machine-readable format, and to object to processing.
If you consented to news and offers, you may withdraw that consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
To exercise any of these rights, simply write to zharniksoft@gmail.com. We respond within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria, kzld.bg.
Security
The connection to the site is encrypted. Briefs and CVs sent through the form are not publicly accessible — only a signed-in administrator can reach them. Server access is restricted and protected by a cryptographic key rather than a password.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process data, we will update this page and state the new effective date.
